Each year, Darden students lead trips to locations including Silicon Valley, Seattle, New York City, Boston, and Washington, D.C.. These Treks give Darden students a great opportunity to visit companies, talk to employees, tour corporate facilities, explore new places, and more.

New York City Tech Trek

Dates: January 15 - 16, 2016
Companies: MakerBot, Tumblr, MasterCard

Washington, D.C. Tech Trek

Date: January 30, 2015
Target Companies: One large (Google, Microsoft, or Amazon), one medium-sized (LivingSocial, Red Hat), and one startup or incubator (Mach 37, 1776). Currently in negotiations with a number of firms.
From the Trek Leaders: This is a day trip to the rapidly growing tech scene right in Darden’s backyard. Our intent is to showcase the impact of the high tech industry on the Capitol Region, while providing students an opportunity to learn about and network with specific companies. San Francisco, Bay Area, and Seattle Tech Trek

Dates: December 15 - 19, 2015
Target Companies (San Francisco, Bay Area): Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Cisco, Citrix, Salesforce, Adobe, Dropbox, and more.
Target Companies (Seattle): Microsoft, Amazon, and more.
